Wassup bro. First off let me say you are an inspiring dude. Also your early review of the Live had me in stitches.... the one where midway into a jam the the hard drive bugged out... I was crying!
I only have one multi timbral device to test this on so I will do that and get back to you.
Just so I’m clear you are sending TO an external device and not sending FROM the external device to the MPC. Cuz unlike the legacy machines these new ones don’t support multitimbral input.... yet.
EDIT: So as soon as I went to the lab and fired my things up I realized that of course you meant sending to the MPC. Unfortunately we dont have multi timbral input yet bro. Its the one major thing holding the new standalones back. Its why I havent incorporated my midi fighter yet. It's why I copped another 1k with JJOS for my hybrid drum rig. So basically the MPC will only recieve midi input on the active track which is just a stupid oversight by AKAI and one which I understand will be corrected. Akai, suprisingly, has been regularly providing updates to the OS every couple months.

All kidding aside though I hope you hold out for the next round of updates... I want to see some dope illGates content for the Live.
