Woke up this morning and turned on the MPC Live in hopes of making some music but was met with this mishap. Has anybody experienced the same issue? Any solutions that I can do myself? This was after updating to the latest firmware, it was working fine last night but this morning this is happening. I have to hold down the power button to turn this thing off.

Do you have any external drive hooked up?If yes remove it and try booting again..

I use an SD card, tried removing it and disconnecting everything. Same result. I believe this issue was introduced around the same time an update was installed...

Just had this happen yesterday after i installed a 120GB Internal drive! Wasnt having this issue until i had put that Internal drive in.. Ended up removing it, and everything was back to normal. Seem like the internal Drive was not agreeing with the MPC LIve... Scary....

Unfortunately no change.

I installed an internal drive the other day, formatted it and everything was working fine. Tonight, I started getting the same issue as I was when I used the SD card. Worked fine for the first few days of having an internal drive installed and then the issue just randomly happened. This is bullshit.

Ok so I was unable to find a way to downgrade but what I did do was uninstall the internal drive and reset the mpc in the settings section - where it tells you what firmware version you are using there is an option to reset on the bottom right. Reinstalled the internal drive and its working again without booting to the black screen.
