Tomorrow, I have important show with mpc Live... And a fear: freeze!

Already happened to me... :Sigh:

It was project with two audio tracks and a non-destructive Drum program. Details: using battery one day after installing 120gb SSD (I did everything akai recommends to optimize)

What to do?

Did you formatted the SSD on your PC? It should be formatted to FAT32.

Freezes most likely coming from a misstep installing the SSD.

I’ve only had freezes when doing way too much at once. Like loading when a sequence is playing, or flying through tracks. I used other Mpcs before live and it seemed a bit easier, way too many options and wrong buttons to hit.
My advice is to make sure everything is loaded and ready way before the show. Do a proper sound check and let it chill. Also might way to make sure you’re not taxing the thing too much. Too many effects/ long samples.

I’m not sure how much I’d be using audio tracks live, but I also don’t work like that. If you’re comfortable and can do your routine a few times before hand you should be good. Another option would be to chop up the audio into samples but that will only for for maybe like accapellas or similar.

Yes, EXFAT is acceptable too. From most cases, its best to format on a PC prior to installing on the Live.

How did it sound for you?
The live sounded great on basic PA system for me.
