Live firmware 2.2.1.2 Bad latency over USB 3 controller mode

Well, the X went back and I got a Live instead.

Problem is it performs MUCH worse over USB 3 than USB 2!?! Very noticeable latency no matter what buffer setting. Yes, I have selected the Live ASIO driver.

Anyone else experience different performance depending on the USB port you use???

Have you tried different usb cables?

I vaguely remember some saying during the Renaissance days that USB 3 didn't work well.
Also hubs are sometimes known for causing issues.

I dont have any problems over usb3 make sure your usb ports are not going to sleep and your using the correct rated usb cable...

Not sure if it’s been mentioned or not, but if you’re using a usb hub, make sure it’s a powered one.

Good tips guys! I forgot about the hidden power management of USB ports. I'll give that a try.
