Sampler warmth on the X compared to the 3000

I’m a MPC3000 user for over twenty years and love the warmth the A/D converters produce when sampling.

My question is how does the MPC X sound compared to the 3000.

Does it have an “MPC3000” mode that they had on the renaissance?

The X/Live AD/DA Converters are dope,yet its transparent. What you sample is what you get.

Both though have MPC 3000 mode, SP1200 , and SP1200 Ring. The Ring you can really hear and ands that grit, you would love that.

The new units don't add warmth to your sound. What you put in is what you'll get out of it. That's why I love my X, nothing is added without me doing so.
