I have a bass track with a bass program loaded up that I played and recorded with my Akai mpk mini. I used the pitch lever to bend the bass note. When I tried to make a new bass program for the verse the pitch was still active on the new track even tho I deleted the notes in the grid editor. I can't figure out how to use the same bass sound but make a new program without it using my previous automation.

No, you’d have to save the program an entirely new one. Example: dirty bass > copy or save program> rename dirty bass 2 and have them both loaded. I am sure there are other work arounds too.

Edit: I think I know what you’re saying, that could work too but make sure you save the new copy.
