I posted this at gear slutz but i am posting here too because GS is ... well idk yet because I picked up all this forum stuff once i stopped some old habits
And needed new ones , and got back into gear and recording and stuff .

Under the FILT / ENV tab, you can choose the amount that velocity modulates the attack envelope “VEL>ATK” , and under the LFO MODULATION tab, there is a slider that allows you to choose how much velocity sensitivity to send to the attack of the amp envelope “ATTACK”.
I feel like this is a bit redundant as one of the 4 modulation sources in each case, and am wondering why that would strike anyone as being a good creative option, to have as a modulation option for both the VCF and VCA discretely on separate pages as opposed to lumping them together with a switch (link VCA/VCF) and giving us more modulation options ? I am wondering if it is just a way of fluffing up the GUI so it looks like there are more options while keeping programming to a minimum? It doesnt seem streamlined or very well-thought out, and I find it really disappointing.
I am trying so hard not to dislike this thing because of the money ive put into it ... I have to take long breaks in between uses , but i really dont want to let it go.
I think im going to hold onto it in the hopes that it will find its way into the hands of programmers who see its potential and who are musically likeminded who get hired on somehow and will improve the software so that it makes better use of the touch screen , relatively robust processing power / capabilities , and make it so that you can push the samples already in it farther (base benchmark: fruity loops’ sample edit windows , pipe dream: simpler / sampler )
And i really hope it doesnt go further down the line of absurdity to include splice before this happens. I feel so dirty using other peoples’ samples (unless they werent created with the intention of being used in other compositions) ... if they decide to push for more of OTHER PEOPLES’ sounds instead of giving us more ways to manipate and sculpt our own, i will absoluteky 100% lose it. Haha.
