Is there a way to use the MPC X as a backing track device. I need to play guitar and fire synth lines while keeping a freeform structure. I want to chop up intros/verse/chorus/bridge parts so I have complete control of when they are fired by using the pad (as one shots). Our drummer is firing the click track so I do not need to worry about that. I thought perhaps my MPC X could be the answer? Would love any help here before I spend too long and realize I'm going to get nowhere. Thanks!
