Send midi notes while playing drum pgm or keygroup pgm

Hello,

I've just received my fantastic MPC Live a few days ago.

In standalone mode, I'm trying to send some midi notes while playing with drum pgm or keygroup pgm.
Maybe there's some way to link pads in those modes to a midi track ?
Maybe something else ?

The fact is that I want to synch a VJ software with midi while I'm playing in standalone mode.

Any chance I could get this work ?

You can make it if you record the notes on a midi track and so you can switch to another track and the notes keep on playing.
If you don't record them, you lose the connection as you change track.
