Mpc Live keeps giving me 2.2.1 Firmware update

WTF!

I already have 2.4 software on my computer..

And when I turn on the MP itself and go into controller mode, i get the message saying my firmware needs an update...

I hit the download button and my computer takes me to the site to download the update and when it’s done it says “2.2.1 Updater”

Anybody know why this is doing this and NOT giving me the 2.4 FIRMWARE update like it’s supposed to?

scroll down on the akai page where you found the 2.4 update.

It will say 2.4 FIRMWARE they got sneaky and put it in the bottom of the page.
