Drum Program Layers...

I know we can add up to 4 layers per drum pad and edit the start and end regions of each layer, but can we edit each layer's filter and amp envelope parameters? If this is possible, then what step/s am I missing to achieve this?

Another question I have is how do you assign your 4 individual sample layers on a drum pad in standalone mode? I usually do this in controller mode with the mouse, but I'd like to achieve this using my MPC X instead...

go to the program edit page to layer samples in standalone, then the samples page, if you want individual fx for layers you will need to print the fx to the sample, all the fx you can ad in program edit are per pad fx not per layer, just tailor each layer to how you want on single pad then flatten it

Use simultaneous play if you want to layer with different LFO/filter/effects per sample

Dice up the Layers to different pads, then assign the Pads to the Same Pad Group. That way you can apply different Filters/FX to each "Layer"/Pad
