Problem following Bible Tutorial

Hello ,
I am brand new to the MPC world and workflow.
Therefore I bought the Bible and so far so good but now in tutorial 6 Layering Drums I am supposed to load samples from a folder.
The action seem to work but after my sample pool is still the same.
Meaning I still have only the samples from the basic shadowkit.

Every time I repeat the action of loading the samples from the Layering Sounds folder I get the message Samples exist and I hit replace.

The result is the same my sample pool still stays the same as before.

Please help

If you are getting the 'samples exist' message the the samples are definitely already in memory. Did you accidentally enable one of the filters in the browser (e.g. program filter or a search phrase), if so this would explain why you cannot see the samples.

I believe I have the browser set to all file types. The phrase fild is empty.

While at the loading stage I can see all files ( i believe there are only wav files in the folder) fine. As instructed I shift+load all.

After that I am asked to replace as the files already exist.

Once I check my sample pool non of the new samples show up.

Even after restarting the mpc the behavior stays the same.

So finally the samples are there.
I have no idea what did it I was close to just giving up and well after restarting the project or the mpc several times now finally i can see the samples in my sample pool.
