Thanks for the replay, and yes this is how I use motherducker when using as a standalone. When I then go to Ableton and use moc as a vst to track an acapella or additional synths I lose the motherducker sidechain effect. I am guessing it's because I am now rerouting outputs and undoing. Can the sidechain effect from motherducker be maintained by bussing out and into Ableton (or another daw)?
comment good solution!

No, Mother Ducker uses internal busses that will function exclusively within the MPC environment whether you are using the MPC in Standalone mode or in Controller mode with the MPC Software/plugin.

Cool. Thanks for clarifying"

So I was just curious if it was possible to A) resample with mother ducker in order to keep it as a clip, B) route it to a daw and keep its sidechain instead of having to put in a sidechain in my daw, or C) just route its audio into a soundcard to computer like classic mpcs's in order to keep the sidechain to avoid having to re-set it up.

I dont have a a MPC right now infront of me for the next handful of days, so if someone to clear this up for me i would much appreciate it.

Thanks.
