Peace, what up fellas and gals!

Couple of us like Charles and Eyalc were talking about Omnisphere. The new version is SICK! SO SICK IT WILL MAKE YOU DO THAT---------> :vomit:

The Arppregiator is the surprise guess and I was looking for an upgrade. Now they have done this update with justice. :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Eric Persing!

The things it can do is the best! I don't see any synth on the planet messing with Omnisphere, and now this? OMG  No more stiff playing, they have made it very flexible. Now here's the magic, where it is combined with the MPC live/X. I have been using Omnisphere with my MPC but now I have to find a way to have them link up. Or I will use my old method which I love cause it's creative and I will still use it. I am fast at it and love it, but to have them linked would be fantastic. But that Arp is the bread winner now, plus with the hardware integration and hardware new sounds is bananas! and they implemented new sounds.

Charles, and E, and others what you think?

I haven't updated yet but of course it looks badass.

Looking forward mainly to the 600 new patches... Not that I'm running low on sounds in Omnisphere or anything haha.

Do you know anyway to use the mod wheel in Omnisphere using only the MPC? No external keyboard or controller?

Cheers

Not yet. Ima lok into that mod wheel stuff soon. Cause the way they got it you can with other legacy synths. All the knobs on Omni turn. So.... Im hoping that it can with midi CC from the live. Ima try all this Sunday.

But its crazy hot! Dam l have peed myself again

True plus multies. But he's not the only one.

Report back if you find a way mate.

All the plugin guru libraries have crazy mod wheel assignments so I would love to find a way to do it with only the Live/X.

It would be smart if Akai got with Spectrasonics to get that integration done. I know Eric Persing could make that happen

Eyalc wrote:Man you KNOW I’m on this. Yeah the Arp is what I’m most excited about. This weekend I’m gonna dig deeper into it.

wHAT UP MANG! Yeah bro, that Arp is freaking bananas! Dammmmmmm! But I love to bring in my own sounds cause Omni lets you do that, run that sound through the Arp and be able to control it with the MPC knobs. I have a Roland A-30 Midi 76 Key, but they didn't put that Roland on the list. Yo the Roland 50 sounds in Omni sounds dopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Yo, I almost blacked out. LOL   Man the hardware sounds is bananas, Ohhhhhhhhh  They got some Andromeda sounds in it, hooooooooooooollllllllllyyyyyyyyy Dammmmmmm. Yo we have to stay in touch and get this thing working. I know James Benard personally and I am going to ask him to please get this to work with the MPC Live/X. Using the QLinks on both Machines and all the other knobs would be dope. But the X would probably take advantage more.

I'm stepping up my library for real, by the time I finish purchasing Banks, I should be at 550 banks, and each bank comes with from up to 90 to 250 presets. But I love to tweak my stuff, cause Omni will be my blue Print and go to Synth!

Dammmmm! I didn't know this many people have Omnisphere 2.6.

Ok l tried to use the Live with the Midi Learn on OmniSPhere 2.6 and it didn't work. I can't rule out that l may have done something wrong.
1. I have the "Y" Uno midi cabke that has USB that l put in my computer. Maybe l have to have midi on the end but l have no interface and lm not interested in getting one.
2. I may not have used tne out/input properly.

If someone get it right please post your step process of getting this to work right.

:-D lm happy though cause my Akai LPD8 WORKS! Hell yeah that works my my midi learn easily in Omnisphere 2.6. I have 6 knobs, more than enough to use. Its so easy, all l do is right click on the slider on Omnisphere and turn the knob on Omnisphere and Baaaam! It works flawlessly. I can do filtering and automation at the same time twisting the LPD8 knobs. I truly dig the LPD8 more.
So actually lm happy. :smoker:

Omnisphere is trash. Get a 1982 Casio keyboard and call it a day. Stop wasting your time with VST’s. Go DAWLESS or go home. I sit in front of a computer all day at work. The last thing I want is to stare at computer screen.
