Maybe just a dream, but any chance to record all the tracks of a project into different audio tracks on Sata HD as we play in real time in standalone?
That would be really really handful, you play, you record all you are playing in real time and then you just connect the HD to a computer to make the final mix.
In my opinion, that would be more helpful then exploding tracks or ableton integration

As of now, there is no hdd streaming but it’s currently being worked on. It has been confirmed that once it comes you still have only 8 audio tracks in standalone.

Right now there are workarounds with varying results.

You can load your project tracks as samples in programs and trigger it that way. You will always have to to play it from the start though to trigger the midi note though.

When I’m done I open the project in software and correct the layout. This got tiring though and I just bought a second Tascam dp with midi.

Well at the moment I connect the 3 stereo output to a Mackie firewire mixer and then record the 3 tracks with a mac. It's ok, it lets me record my set live and then adjust the mixing later but it's a bit limited.
I think the perfect solution would be this I wrote, recording any track to an audio track on HD.
Do you think it will be possible with disk streaming?

i keep a fostex mr8/yamaha mixer around for such purposes. $50-100 used each. not a lot of features but smooth & simple . . . . .

i dump it into my MPC or MV if i need to get busy.
i dump it into ableton if i just want to mix/master.

Also track out the 3 stereo outputs to a multitrack through a firewire or usb mixer is a good solution.
But they should fix those glitches that happen sometimes when I switch mode on standalone.
In an hour of recording, I usually have 2 or 3 of that.
Izotope RX can help with that luckily.
