Screen glitches - Software or hardware bug?

So now im on my 3rd Live that Akai just shipped me (the 2nd had a visible screen brightness defect).

Ive already updated to 2.5 firmware / software.

So now im experiencing issues i first encountered with the 2.3 firmware.

Essentially, just about any screen or menu Im in, as im using the touch screen it sometimes will glitch and bounce me to a random ass menu. Or it would stay in the same menu / mode but totally misinterpret my screen touches, which fares worse to deal with when im trying to use the XY mode.

One time I was trying to save a song export, and it wouldnt let me type a new file name. Everytime i tried to use the onscreen keyboard to change the name, no matter what keys i was pressing on the keyboard the MPC would add wrong letters or other characters instead. If i used the backspace key to erase any input it would instead add "+++" characters. Rebooting fixed that issue in the meantime. But...

Did you remove the Screen Protector? That may be the problem? Not to be an A$$hole, but sweaty fingers may cause problems. Try using your Finger Knuckles to see if that alleviates the problem. Again no disrespect My Man lol

And yup, screen protector I took off right out the box. No sweats. Fingers clean, & Clean screen.
