bouncing to midi (slice to new midi track)

in ableton there is a way to take an audio track and extract the velocity and pitch information and essentially turn an audio track into a midi track. "slice to a new midi track" in ableton live. i just bought an MPC live, still learning my way around. how could i do this on the MPC
