So I have been looking into buying the Mpc x but I keep getting a lot of mixed reviews. I’ve noticed with the information being presented I can’t seem to find if there is an ability to extract audio or midi files after completing sequence into a DAW for further editions for adding FX, Mixing and Mastering.

For an example:

When the song/beat is finished on the Mpc x is it possible to extract those midi or audio files to mix and master on a DAW?

Thanks for any info/confirmation on that.

You can export audio 'stems' no problem, i.e. an audio file for each track in your sequence (and/or a stereo mix etc). You can't export MIDI files from standalone mode though, that's currently only possible directly in the MPC Software (the computer app). In which case you would have to save your project in your MPC X, connect your MPC X to your computer, open that project in the MPC Software and then export the MIDI from there (one track at a time).
