I noticed that some pads on my MPC have samples that behave like they are on a MUTE GROUP ... i.e, one pad mutes when another pad is struck.. but when I go to the program edit, i can see that neither pad has any such assignments.
they only behave this way toward one another (doesn't work with other pads), and when I DO assign them mute and combo functions, they work as expected.
so what gives? why are they acting like a mute group? is there another way to make similar settings?
