As the title says. I worked for most of the day on a track.
Was saving incrementally out of caution.
Decided to flatten pad on the snare as I wanted to make a variation of the snare with the different layers. Soon as I pressed flatten pad the project started to load with a window in the middle of the touch screen showing progress. It then crashed.

Now the project crashes when I try to open it!

I’m beyond gutted I do not have another save of the project.

Please is there anyone who can help :|

Sorry I cant help with the song but, does your software really say .17 or is that just a typo?? I remember right after 2.6 came out the software was still saying there was an update available but nothing ever came after 2.6.0.16 which is the released one.

Did you try opening it without the Live attached? Maybe the controller is screwing it up and crashing it?

So I’ve partially managed to rebuild the track by going inside the project folder and dragging each individual file into mpc (drag and drop)
I thought I had resolved the issue a process of elimination I’d discovered a problematic vst program. So I deleted it and it seemed to be working fine. However I’ve just tried to open it and it’s getting stuck again when it’s trying to load sequence 1 progress bar at 97% FFS!!!

The version number was taken from a file that was in the project folder which I opened with notepad to look at the code. So that’s what it says.
