I have my drums sounds on Track 1 and a Synth sound on Track 2.

I have an Akai MPK225 midi keyboard controller which comes with pads and keys.

I want to be able to play track 1 on the pads of my controller and track 2 on the keys.

Is this at all possible on the MPC Live. I know it can be done on the computer but wish I knew how to get it done on a Standalone MPC Live.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Ouch.... As of right now....Not At the Same Time. It all depends on what the Active Track is

It took me FOREVER to figure out the 2.0 software cannot do this. It saddens me because this is a no brainer. For the hub of my studio, massive midi controller etc......it seems Akai, or should I say "new akai" forget or decided to leave it out. I think the X is a very special piece of gear. Could be everything I could ever want. But I will not buy it until this feature is brought back.
