How is MPC X synced to & controlled by Pro Tools?

I am struggling to sync my MPC X up to Pro Tools so that it will be the slave and Pro Tools the master when recording in Pro Tools;

What is the proper set-up?

Whenever you have a question on this subject nobody answers, I hope you have more luck.
I am a mpc user and I do not want to switch to machine, but I would very much like akai to worry more about this very important subject, the machine is very easy to synchronize and record audio e mid directly on any Daw

Not sure how Pro Tools is set up....But on the MPC side of things....You'll have to set the MPC to Receive MMC & Midi Clock(possibly MTC)...In the Settings screen.
After that...You will have to figure out the settings in Pro Tools!

Its funny, ive asked this question here too and never had a response. I know exactly how to do it in Logic Pro now thankfully. If it helps contact me and ill run you through how it worked for me

Anyone figure out how to sync the MPC Live 2 with Pro Tools... yet? I have not been able to successfully do it either. Any info / ideas would be appreciated!
