so If I make some changes via the sample screen.. (truncating samples etc) and then I want to save the edited samples to the SD card.. How do you this? right now when I reload the contents of the SD card my edits are not saved

After Editing Your sample, renaming it,...you have to assign it to a Program. From there, u can hit the Pencil Icon on the Program section and Select Save Current Sample. Pick a Location (preferably a SD card,USB drive or HDD) Then Save it

Nahhh Once you save it to a location, Its There til you physically go in a delete it. When you delete the Program, your samples will still be in the Sample Pool (RAM)

Now if you Power down the MP, Those Samples are Gone unless you saved them to a Certain Location
