Discovering MPC-X and...MPC Bible

Hello. Walter here, from France (so my english is not very good!).

I'm a proud (new) owner of a MPC-X. And also a proud owner of the MPC Bible! That's quite a chance for me to have this book, as the X is my very first MPC.

Everything was going well so far, until page 121. I have a very small problem with a feature.

It's all about "Copying Events Via Main".

The guide says :

"Let's know copy some Kicks. Firstly in GRID EDIT, select the kicks we want to copy (this is important) - here i've selected the first two kicks at the start of bar 4 using the select tool"

Well, i'm on the Grid view, i see the two kicks and i'm using the select tool.

But i just can't select both. I can select one by touching it on the screen, and the other, but not both at the same time. Trying to drag just move a kick on the grid.

This is really a small problem, i admit, but i would like to solve it before going further.

Avec l'outil sélection (le carré en pointillé) laisse glisser ton doigt pour former un carré qui englobe tes deux kick.

Don't touch the kick itself, touch just above it (or below etc), hold, then drag around all the events you wish to select, then release your finger.
