MPC LIVE midi and q link range

Hi Guys,
do you know is there a possibility on MPC Live to set range of controlling parameters by midi or Q-links? (for example i control drum program by q link knob and it works only between -12 to 12 semitones instead of -36 to 36 ). I previously worked on MPC 4000 and it was capable to do it.

I was trying to figure out a way to do this the other day... From what I can tell it is not possible to set a range for the Q-links.

I have some synths that only use e.g. 1-5 instead of 1-127 to select, say, LFO type and its pretty fiddly to get the right number (esp on the Live with no OLEDs).

I wouldn't mind being proven wrong, though.

Same thing here... I recently got an MPC Studio. I thought defining the range of the Q-Links, a minimum and a maximum value, would be a basic functionality. I really hope there's a way to do it, seems really strange...
