I'm just getting started with the Live Software. I can't find Drum Programs in controller mode. On the Live the folder is;
[Internal]/Expansions/The Vault 2
I managed to get 3rd party VSTs going for the most part.

The internal programs are blocked off/hidden in controller mode. You have to downloaded the expansions from your Akai pro account when you register your hardware.

OK this is starting to make more sense. I'm coming from FL Studio and this is my first real crack at learning another DAW plus it's my first MPC. I dragged/dropped some of the free expansions like The Reaper Bass into the DAW. I assume it's the same for Vault 2 and other content.
Hybrid 3 is free in the software but I'm not clear on some VSTs like Riser, etc..
With plugins like Hybrid that are only native to the software I assume you'd burn midi to audio and save the file within a project for use in Live standalone mode. I see the icon for the free expansions in the software and also The 809, Bank, Noise but it say's 'Load Plugin'.
