Good idea but man that was tough to watch and listen to.

Good vid and I agree it is powerful but I think the main reason why stand alone users generally ain't using the software is the GUI. Learning to navigate is a pita and it's ugly af.

The MPC Software is so hard to navigate, it's pretty much only useful for Autosampler.

If you don’t have a MPC as controller to enter menu’s then it really is a pain in the ass to navigate. Probably for a reason.

That video could have been 2 minutes, not 20...

Amen to that. I started out with just the software and like 4 days later ponied up and bought the MPC Studio. It made moving through the software about 1000x more efficient hah.

I made loads of tracks and recorded vocals into the MPC X. It's not just the software, the hardware now is capable enough for more than sample/MIDI-based music production. This whole song, vocals included, was recorded and mixed on the MPC X.

The desktop software... It's pretty much the worst designed software on the market. But the TUI software that runs on the Live, X, and One is fantastic IMHO.
