Hi there,
I've used the search function on this board but i couldn't find the answer to my question (probably because i'm using the wrong terms).
I'm looking for a used mpc live but there are not that much units for sale and the ones that are for sale are too expensive in my opinion.
Now i'm thinking about getting a mpc one.
In my opinion it's a shame to integrate CV outs but no individual outputs for audio. Most of the time i don't need individual outputs since the mixer in the mpc looks pretty usable, but sometimes i do need individual outs for using external hardware.
So my question is:
Is it possible to
- transfer projects from the mpc via sd card to a macbook
- import the project in the mpc 2.x software
- use the mpc one as a controller for the mpc 2.x software
- use a external audio interface with multiple outputs and route pads / programs to different indiviual outputs from the external audio interface to mix them on an analog mixer
I've read that you can use the mpc in controller mode, but do all the buttons and sub menus work "out of the box" or do i have to assign every button on the mpc to a function in the software?
Thanks in advance
