the mpk 249 comes with the mpc essential software so I guess it integrates good with the mpc software. But what about the standalone mode? Can I switch for example thru the banks via the keyboard? Or do the play and rec buttons work on the keyboard with the mpc in standalone mode?

If yes it could be nice addition for the live

the play/stop on my keystep work on my mpc live so assuming this would work. though i never use it and i am wondering why you would need this. are the bank buttons on the live that far to reach or is something wrong with your arms or hands?

I’ve only been able to control the MPC with the keys and pads from the MPK249. Haven’t had luck mapping any of the other buttons yet. Akai support did tell me it was possible but they weren’t able to help me configure it. I’ve tried with the USB and MIDI connections.
