MPC X b/c big hinge screen & 16 knobs/OLEDs ?

vs.

FORCE b/c better warping ? & still portable
Same screen & only 8 knobs/OLEDs

I luv the MPC LIVE/ONE for their power/portability but if you want do more mixing / arrangement / studio works, it seems the X / FORCE are the next logical step ???

Depends on your workflow. I prefer having the mpc live which I take with me when I travel. @ home I m using the mpc with my sp 606 for resampling which I record into the mpc. I normally save the project to the SD card stick it into my pc and load the project inside the mpc software. I render most of the tracks as audio files and replace sometimes mpc synths or effects with my favorite ones. Then I import the tracks into cubase for " mixing"

A midi kybd w/pads controller.

That goes without saying. I hear the “notes mode” on the FORCE is the future, but I prefer an old AKAI MPK around at all times.
