2.8 is coming...

This 1990 secret beta testing needs to go away. Just tell people what they are working on, if they're is a bug, fix them ASAP and send out a monthly patch. Save all new features for the bigger updates.

1. Talk and patch the bugs that are there.
2. Don't talk about new features.

I feel like i have said this too often lately, but they need to fix the plug-ins (tube/bass/rhodes) ... you can't tune or change the pitch of those plug-ins so you are forced to tune all other samples or audio to them if you plan to use them at all. The MPC does not host those plug-ins inside a wrapper like you would see in a DAW which includes those abilities.

They also need to make the master DB meter available in every plug-in window that changes dynamics... some compressors force you to hop in and out of the screen with the controls just to see what you are doing.

We know things like the drum synth are coming, but frankly, what is the point if you can't tune the damn thing.

The tuning issue is a pain... and the answer is not to auto sample and then do micro tuning there...

Constant Akai and their leakers - “no other MPC has had this capability”, only to have most people like .

This type of messaging is just silly and this whole “game changer” mentality is juvenile.

Fix the platform, resolve issues and bugs. Then make this type of post.

Seriously! We're not kids Akai, save that corny "ooh we got a surprise coming" b.s. and just be transparent and communicate! It goes a long way in this day in age.

Has any MPC had streaming? Because thats half of the complaints... "multi timbral" is the other half...

It may not be Akai’s messaging... could be some dude... anybody know who made that post and relation to Akai?

This is the reason most companies dislike beta... dudes off flapping on things they may or may not know anything about.
