MPC one guitar

Hi I’m new to the MPC family.
Does anybody know what do I need to record a guitar or bass into the mpc one?
Do you need a pre-amp or interface?

What kind of guitar you want to record? If it's an acoustic - usually they have preamps. Electric guitar need preamp and cabsim. But there are some guitars with buildin preamps.
You can record bass - line in of mpc. But the sound will be special with out preamp and with it.

A DI box would do the trick too.

I use a Vox Amplug headphone amp. Sounds really nice for the price and has a headphone out which you can connect to the MPC.

It’s better than a DI box because it has amp simulation, chorus, delay, reverb. It’s a practice headphone amp.

Or you can use a guitar Multieffects pedal and route the out to the MPC in.

I wish the MPC had a Guitar Amp simultator inside.

So just connect the headphone out to the input of the mpc and record your business. No need for a guitar amp simulator, you already have a physical one.

What does the AUX on the Vox Amplug do? Does it functions as Aux in or Aux out?
