Keygroup Never Plays Back Correctly - Pitches Down. Help!

I am totally new to MPC’s, and have an MPC One. I have been able to program basic beats and understand tracks and programs. I am trying to create my first keygroup from a one shot sample. I create and edit the sample no problem, and assign it to the correct program, but when I go back to MAIN and play the pads, the keygroup is pitched WAY WAY down. I have messed with this for so long. I imagine the fix is probably simple, but I can’t figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to set an appropriate root note on the sample (default is c3). Do this in SAMPLE EDIT or set it within the layer for each keygroup in PROGRAM EDIT
