I was hoping this was possible via the browser where you load samples and can also assign them to the pads, but it doesn't have the option or the possibility to add more sounds sounds than one as seperate layers.. too bad.

Yeah... I think if this is something somebody wanted too do often... my suggestion would be to consider setting up a template with multiple pad triggers and probably do something like A1 triggers B1, C1, D1... so when you wanted to stack kicks you load to A1,B1,C1,D1... etc...

Yes, while layering I just use the + - buttons to navigate the browser, to change sample, while auditioning with the pad. Ideally should be an icon to turn on/off to hear browser samples if you want, this is in program mode, and samples are in ram.

Did you consider using the MPC program maker on the computer to make your programs? I think it's much easier and quicker in there to built layered pads.

Spent an evening doing this and you'll be set for a while :)
