What’s stops me from buying a MPC X to be the center of my studio?
(Did have a live, now have the force)
I would love to dump the computer but just don’t think the X would work.
Needs a monitor connection - not sure why Akai did not include one - and a mouse input.
I did hear one MPC did have a monitor input?

Mouse and kybd, I understood that back in the day with the VGA cards, but these days, that’s a laptop, might as well get a laptop.CFM01 wrote:I did hear one MPC did have a monitor input?

iMouse input is hated on but given how clunky the grid editor is with the touch screen a mouse input would vastly improve the usability of the grid editor and the step sequencer.

Use a mesh tipped stylus.
