See that the new MPC 1 acts as a controller for the MPC software included with it, but curious to know if ANYONE knows if it also allows audio to be sent to it via USB from software as well, thus making it an audio/MIDI interface for MPC software? If just a controller, it only handles MIDI? :Sigh: :Sigh: :Sigh: ... So confused

The MPC Live and X can act as actual audio interfaces. The One is an entry level MPC lacking some features for the price. But the audio interface on your computer should work fine, right?

You computer will see the MPC ONE as audio interface while in controller mode. The IN/OUT/MIDI I/O all works. The issues is the MPC audio drivers need to be updated. Crackle, Pops, Drop Out, Latency, Freezing may/will randomly occur. One way to stop the freezing, is to launch the MPC Software even if you're not using it. That will trick the MPC One into staying connected, because it's interfaced with Software.

Really appreciate the responses. Figured as much. Knew it was too good to be true. $300 cheaper because you have 2 buy interface. I get it...  :worthy:
