Not a review .just me working out the built in monitors

Good video. Yeah, I can understand why people would complain about a speaker on the flagship model like the X.

The MPC Live is designed for portability. The Speaker is a nice option to have on the road when you’re making beats in a hotel somewhere or on a vacation.

Interesting:

The more I use the MK2, I realize that all my little gripes about a built-in speaker and how unnecessary it is was actually close minded and wrong. It's actually pretty useful.

I didn't think I'd need speakers on the MPC. But the MK2 proves me wrong.

I honestly suspect that a lot of the naysayers might come to the same conclusion if they actually sat down in front of one and used it for a bit. Thanks for sharing your insight and experience.

There's also a difference between how some people are going about their dialogue

* I am not buying this because it is not for me

is different from

* I am going to complain about this because it is not for me

And I'm not saying one is better than the other

I may not be able to carry it everyday like I thought I could.

Is it bigger then mk1?
Does it fit in a 17"laptop bag?

It adds two or so inches to one dimension, and according to someone on Gearslutz an extra kilo of weight.

Not worth it at all IMO.

this video gets way deeper in... (25min review, Live MK II comparison side-by-side with One & Live MK I, speaker testing, etc)
