Possible 2.8 bug - all notes not recording?

Apologies if this has been reported. I didn’t see it anywhere.

I have a sequence, 8 bars. Press record, and record a kick drum pattern - using 16 levels (velocity).

Playback... the notes play up until measure 6, then nothing after. Look at List View, sure enough, no notes were recorded after measure 6. Doesn’t happen every time, but it’s happened enough times that I notice. If I record again, everything records correctly.

Anyone else seen this?

Yikes - not yet. I remember back on 2.6 or so I had a similar issue, but I went into my Pad sensitivity and cranked it up, and the issue went away. See if tweaking that changes the behavior? Otherwise, I'd get in touch with support and report a bug.

I had a situation where my Track SEQ Beats Length was shorter the Sequencer length....Check that on the Main Screen

Good thought. Just checked and it didn't make a difference for me - still had the same issue. But I can't recreate it every time. Usually happens when I'm starting a new project.

Another great thought. My track sequence length is set to Seq though.

Will see if anyone else saw this... if not I'll submit a but report.

Did you ever find a fix for this? it’s driving me crazy every update I’m hoping it gets fixed
