I’m trying control the MPCX from behind my drum kit using a pad controller (Roland SPD-sx)
Can someone confirm my fear that -the control functions from the 1/4” foot switch jacks (I.e. “PAD 1” “PAD 2” “PAD BANK A” “PAD BANK B” “NEXT TRACK” “NEXT SEQUENCE”) can not be duplicated/executed using an external pad controller?
My problem is most simply illustrated by the fact that a half witted 1/4’ foot switch pedal can perform a track mute/unmute (in a regular program or clip program) but that function can not be performed by programming it in the -midi learn -source -target -type section. Not to mention start, stop, next, PAD 1, PAD 2, ETC.
This seams so fundamental to me, surely I’m not the only one needing to use the MPCX in this way?!
