mpc live pads, buttons & knobs freezes up (standalone)

my mpc live pads, buttons & knobs freezes up in the middle of a project happened 3 times within the last month. touchscreen stills functions and the pads light up when it goes over a pad that's already recorded. thank god i can still sav. anybody having this issue or have a fix for this?

It's very likely hardware failure somewhere. If you have an SSD (or mechanical) drive hooked up to the bottom compartment, or you're using any SD Cards or USB sticks/drives, first software eject those and then remove them, and then see if you can recreate the issue. If the issue stops, then it's one of those causing the issue. If the issue continues, then you might want to send it to Akai for service.

Which OS version do you have installed?
