Alright, 2.8 has dropped and it has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE for me. The start and stop butting make sounds when i press them, as well as the full level, and undo buttons. I tried reinstalling the drivers, did nothing. Currently using the MPCX with a 2017 iMac, running on the latest macOS software. Does anyone have any suggestions or info on how i can resolve this? Peace Mpc fam!

Hey J-Fabz, awesome you here.

Uff, that's a tough one. You can try a few things:

1. Reset the MPC (read the manual how to do that)
2. Did you try it on another computer? And does the issue still excist?
3. Does it also happen in standalone mode?

If questions 2 and 3 are answered positive, you are bankrupt and go to jail.

Just kidding, your device might be faulty and you want to get in touch with akai support. Unfortunately though, it seems like the picture below resembles the akai support office at the moment.

So if you still have warranty, you should contact your dealer to get the unit replaced or fixed up.
