I'm thinking of buying a unit used, I know it comes with about 10gb of sounds. are these sounds on a disk or on the firmware?
Is it possible that the previous owner to delete some of these samples? Is there a way to get them back or to ensure that you have all the items that you get when you buy the unit new?

This has been discussed here in detail many times.
Don’t delete whatever content that comes on it. That is old/classic mpc thinking, There are gonna be problems so just leave that alone.
Instead use a 521gb SD card and/or add your own internal
1tb SSD.
The expansions can be put on your extra drives.

I think like a MPC. A program is a tool. If the sculpture don't look right, Don't blame the chisel..
