Hello everyone,
I’m not getting any midi clock signal from my mpc live (v 2.8 )

I’m able to set it up to receive midi clock form my looper or from my microkorg but I would like to use the mpc as the master and I’m not able to get a signal to the looper nor to the korg. Ive tried using regular midi 5 pin din cables and also usb cables.
I am enabling the midi clock and assigning midi port (mpc settings - sync)

Has anybody had this issue before?
I would appreciate any help,

Thanks a lot

Only thing I can suggest is to make sure your channels are set properly on both the MPC and the device you want to control, and make sure MIDI in is plugged into MIDI Out and vice versa. Make sure you have the MPC set to send out MIDI Clock as well (and disable the Korg from sending it). Also check the MPC's MIDI settings in the Preferences. Make sure you have those ports enabled so you can send MIDI clock to them. Your synths probably also have a setting that tells it to use the internal clock or use an external one.

I have a total of 11 devices hooked up (4 USB, 7 DIN MIDI) and they all work just fine here, whether its playing them or syncing. Even my rack effects change patches just fine when they need to.
