I have it. Easy to use. The beta that’s out now even includes the audition sounds for the different programs that get created.

It wasn't really clear from the website, so I thought I would ask before I bought it, since the Ableton is stored in their own .aif format.

You can get them to .wav, but it takes some work, so I was hoping this would do it for me.

Kit Maker won't convert the file types for you, but if you have a lot of .aif files and you batch convert them to .wav (I'm sure there are apps that do this), you can have Kit Maker automatically create MPC kit programs for you. It becomes more useful the more sounds you have because it will keep making kits for you until it uses up all the sounds

I guess the .aif files are not in standard format so none of the converters I've tried will read them (switch and others). Also from what I'm reading the files are encrypted and copy protected, I just saw a post from Ableton.

The only way is to play them in a track and save it, which is a lot of extra work.

If anyone knows an easy way to convert the Ableton .aif to .wav that would be helpful.
