Pad Replacements for MPC One

I am just wondering, what happens when I wear out the pads on my new MPC ONe? I checked ebay, I checked Akai.... I googled.. and nothing.

I've been practicing a lot learning how to finger drum. Thinking maybe I shoudl be practicing on a cheap midi controller instead wearing those pads out. Any suggestions ?

I emailed mpcstuff a couple months ago about fat pads and they said they where working on them, I believe October was what they where shooting for but I haven't seen them on their site yet. But mpcstuff would definitely, usually be the go to for spare parts for me.

I wouldn't worry about very much. I have an MPC that I finger drum on everyday for years. By the time the pad sensors go out, you'll move on to another machine. The pad sensor will outlast the screen and transport buttons. For me it takes at least 2 years to actually break in the rubber.

1. I make sure, I play each pad as equal as possible.
2. I Focus on good striking technique.
3. I avoid KING KONG fingers. (Striking hard for no reason)
