Hey Guys!

Was wondering if anyone has had any experience installing MPCStuff's Pad Corx into their MPC Live mk1 or mk2.

Ive been loving my MPC Live 2 but just want to get a bit more sensitivity in to match my playing style. For reference I used to rock an MPD218 and I used small pieces of athletic tape. With the tape installed I could lightly brush my fingers on the to trigger them (It was awesome).

Ive watched a tear down video of the MPC Live on MPCStuff's youtube channel and it does seem like a bit of work but Im mainly concerned with the additional connectors and wires with the MPC Live 2 speakers.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome!

this may block or at least hinder light coming theough the pads. Sounds like an interesting experiment though, so might be worth a rey. Personally I rind the pads much more sensitive than previous systems... MPD, 1k, 500,

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity curve in the options?

I agree. Also like the OP stated, swapping out the pads are much more involving. It's almost like they don't want us to go in there.

MPCStuff has a version of pad corx with an opening on the middle to account for the LED.

I kind of made a makeshift version of the same thing for my MPD218. To be honest I think the LED's are a really nice feature but I'd definitely be will to give up some visibility for sensitivity.

As far as the settings go, I've tried a few setting but seem to get an increased amount of double triggers the lower I set the threshold. Might have something to do with my play style..? Ill keep playing around with the settings before I resort to opening up my Live 2.
