Layer both sample and synth on same pad possible?

Hi

Is it possible to layer both synth and a sample ton the same pad?

I'd like to trigger the MPC Live II from my Roland drumpad.
It would be great if the MPC could play a synth and a sample at the same time when receiving a certain Midi Note from my Roland Drum Pad.
This would give me the sound-design possibilities that I'am looking for.

The Elektron Rytm for example is capable of playing layers like this.
