Hey Guys,

I'm confused how to go about doing this... If I connect the TB-03 to my laptop via USB, press play on the roland and record midi or audio as I feel. But if I connect the USB to the MPC Live II standalone I can only get MIDI information...

Should I be connecting the TB-03 a different way and why is that??

Thanks,

William

Thanks for clarifying that...

I don't really know what 'class compliant' means, but at least I can stop trying to plug in and unplug everything a million more times.

Since I don't have a cable right now, I can record into the software on my laptop and just use that. It was really just the most repetitive bass line ever.

yeah, i have the same setup but process the TB-03 through an (analog) console to get a nice sweet distortion and then back into the MPC sampling input to get a clip/sample recorded right away
'cause when it's right, you gotta record it straight away, before you know it, the settings/vibe disappear
