MPC Live Quick access to Program Mode?

Got a MPC Live and happy with almost everything apart from access to Program Mode. It's a mode I want to reach all the time but it has no direct access.

From the Main screen it's accessible for drum programs via Warp Samples, and I can also reach Sample Edit there which is great. But this is not present for Keygroup Programs or Plugin Programs which is a shame. I wonder why that is?

So I was thinking, maybe there's some other quicker way than via the Menu?
Or could I set up a Midi Controller (or even a QWERT) to activate various Menu Items directly, if so how?

I've learned Menu + Pad 14 is an alternative, unfortunately it requires two hands for me so it's not much quicker than going via Menu.

(I want more than stereo outs otherwise MPC One would be the obvious chioce)

Yea it's a little annoying but Menu + Pad 14 is best option right now. Hopefully MPC Live 3 has it. MPC One has the button right now. Requiring two hands to get to one place isn't that bad though. Maschine has similar issues. So it's not unprecedented

Ok, I see.

An update with midi assignable controls would be fine too, perhaps even better since you could activate various screen from a midi keyboard or similar. That would be great.

But is a bit funny how you are supposed to work with MPC Live. On one hand it's a controller for a computer app wheter it be Ableton or Akai MPC, at the same time – in stand alone – it might be the central unit for production making interesting as target for exernal controllers.

i have put some stickers for the most important shortcuts on the pads..so far I can reach every function, except step edit, very quick on the Live mk1..

On The Live, from the Main Screen, I touch the Little House Symbol in the Upper Right, then Prog Edit.

Takes me bout...Ummmm..... 0.075 seconds (Kinda Quick for my Old A$$)

Yepp, that's true. Or get the budget One with more buttons but smaller "engine" (fewer outputs).
The House was new to me so thanks for that. Probably the quickes access.
