I am considering buying an MPC One (depending on in-stock issues...), and I want to make sure it will work for a certain use-case: keyboard practice/ drill.

Could you experts look at my task below and (1) tell me if it's feasible and (2) outline the workflow?

Task:

* loop over a four instrument drum track, one measure long (kick/ snare/ hihat open / hihat close),
* play and hear notes in my Roland A-49 keyboard triggering the tube synth,
* record my playing to a long sequence, say 200 measures,
* review and replay the sequence to determine how awful is my technique ;)

Thanks all!

yes

yes

yes, the limit is 999 per sequence

* review and replay the sequence to determine how awful is my technique ;)
yes and you can edit in the grid (piano roll)

But don't expect a nice acoustic piano sound with the factory content.
